The Central & Southern Regions of California are considered by the automotive advertising industry to be some of the most competitive used vehicle advertising markets in the United States.  In 1984, Trade Express magazine was introduced into the Santa Barbara County and Ventura County markets as the first photo classified used vehicle magazine. 

It did not take long for the market to see the results from this consumer and dealer friendly publication. In 1990, due to the growing demand from advertisers in San Luis Obispo County, the Trade Express San Luis Obispo edition was launched to service Northern Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, and even Southern Monterey County!

What worked for used vehicles in the Central and South Coast regions is now working for used vehicles in Los Angeles County! In July of 2003, Trade Express launched the first all color, all classified photo magazine in Los Angeles County! With the launch of the Trade Express Los Angeles edition, Trade Express has grown to become the #1 used vehicle publication in California!

Trade Express magazines are located in racks in over 3000 locations such as Vons, Ralphs, Albertsons, K-Mart, Blockbuster, 7-Eleven, Bally's Health Club, and other participating local restaurants, gas stations, liquor stores, and convenience stores. In addition, you can find Trade Express in hundreds of convenient street stands throughout our coverage areas. The Trade Express San Luis Obispo edition and the Trade Express Santa Barbara/Ventura edition are distributed on Thursday mornings, while the Trade Express Los Angeles edition is distributed on Friday mornings.
